The Changamwe NG-CDF office had the honor of receiving a delegation from the NG-CDF Board, led by NG-CDF Board Directors to discuss education projects, ensure better service delivery, and guarantee efficient management of funds allocated to Changamwe constituency.
During the visit, several key projects funded by the NG-CDF were toured, including Mwingo Primary School, Mikadini Primary School, the Changamwe NG-CDF Office and the Ahmed Shahame Mwidani Technical Training Institute.
The following challenges were identified during the visit:
- Limited land for expansion, encroachment issues, and teacher shortages affecting learning outcomes at Mwingo Primary School.
- Lack of space, congestion, soil instability, and swampy conditions affecting learning and construction at Mikadini Primary School.
- Inadequate branding and visibility of the NG-CDF office.
To address these issues, the Board recommended engaging stakeholders to resolve land disputes and secure space for future expansions at Mwingo Primary School. Additionally, there is a need to work closely with the Ministry of Education to address teacher shortages. The Board also suggested improving office branding to align with NG-CDF’s guidelines for better visibility.
We received commendations from the Board for the excellent work and quality of the projects in the constituency. Changamwe NG-CDF promises to continue delivering quality work for the people of Changamwe.
